Lively fauna

The forest speaks and sings many languages throughout the day and night. In the morning you will readily see the hummingbirds and butterflies come to your doorstep as they greet the morning. In the afternoon and evening you can see dozens of varieties of birds flying above you or resting on nearby branches. At night, you will hear the chanting of dozen other dwellers as they guard your sleep

…indulge yourself as you unveil new sensations strolling through a cloud forest paradise… sit on a wet stone in the middle of a refreshing stream…as you refresh yourself and your spirit…close your eyes…as you open your heart to listen to the forest chatter…then, let your senses engulf you while birds and Nature greet you openly…

The property has gentle and abrupt slopes throughout, cliffs with waterfalls, cloud forest streams (where water is tapped for consumption) and hundreds of mature trees, medicinal plants, and abundant wildlife.

The Rock Lodge and Sandy Beaches

Behind the house, you can stroll down through one of our nature trails and arrive to the secluded sandy shores of the pristine Cinto River. Sitting on the giant legendary Cinto River Rock boulders, is a natural cabaña with a small kitchen and a bathroom. The first floor is a large living room with hammocks. The 2 beds are located on the 2nd floor, with spectacular views of the river, the beaches and the forest. This Rock Lodge is reserved for those intrepid visitors that would like to hear the roar of the river at night, and wake up in a spot only dreamt of, safely on top of the river!

 

The Streams

The property is bounded on the North and South by two natural spring streams that flow year-round. We obtain our water for consumption directly from these natural springs. The springs make their way from the highest points of the property and one of them passes next to the Main House on their way to the Cinto River. Along their downstream journey it creates small waterfalls and ponds creating a mini oasis for a refreshing and relaxing activity.

Rejuvenating hydro healing

The original earthly minerals and spiritual healing powers of these streams may be experienced at several spots of the streams as they descend 300 meters (1000 ft) from the highest peaks of the Cinto basin to the Cinto River. The gentle stream bathes, cleanses and balances your presence on Earth. Its invigorating medicine seems to be a secret of this magical land.
